Zimbabwean gospel singer Everton Mlalazi will perform at Tbo Touch's Replenishment Concert in Sandton on Saturday 31 October, as the event moves to Johannesburg for the first time.

Organiser Tbo Touch told IOL that Mlalazi is "the international act on this year's concert". IOL describes him as among the headline acts, and NewZimbabwe says he will headline the fifth edition.

"I'm certainly sure gospel fans wouldn't want to miss the performance from Everton Mlalazi," Tbo Touch said, according to IOL.

A new home

The concert started in 2022 and spent its first four years at SuperSport Park in Centurion. This year it moves to Sandown High Top Field, at the corner of Rivonia Road and Grayston Drive in Sandton, IOL reports.

Mlalazi shares the bill with South African gospel names including Judith Sephuma, performing at the concert for the first time, Kabelo Mabalane, Joyous Celebration, Dr Tumi and Khaya Mthethwa, according to IOL.

Mlalazi founded The Vine Music Ministry in 2014 before going solo, and is known for his In the Presence series, IOL says.

Who is Everton Mlalazi?

Mlalazi went solo in 2020 after six years with The Vine, NewZimbabwe and his Wikipedia entry report. His latest album, In the Presence 3: Great God, came out in 2026, according to TimesLive and the album's listings on Spotify and Apple Music.

He is now part of Spirit of Praise, the South African gospel ensemble, The Herald and Wikipedia say. In July he sang two songs, Uyingcwele and Ngabe Safela Endleni, at the recording of Spirit of Praise 12 at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, The Herald reported. Gospel Music Magazine says the full Spirit of Praise 12 album is due on 13 November.

He also leads Celestial Chorus, a worship concert built around reinterpreted hymns, according to TimesLive and Wikipedia. Its second South African edition was held at Carnival City on 21 March with a 100-piece orchestra, and entry was made free by the Bridging Gaps Foundation, TimesLive reported.
